Printing Multiple Ranges at Once

Summary: Need to print more than one portion of your worksheet? If you use named ranges for the different ranges you want to print, you can apply the technique in tip to print whatever named ranges you want.

If you have multiple named ranges that you want to print (and the ranges are on the same worksheet), you may be wondering how you can easily do this in Excel. The easiest way is by following these steps:

Make sure the worksheet whose named ranges you want to print is selected.
Display the Page Layout tab of the ribbon.
In the Page Setup group click the Print Area tool and then click Clear Print Area. This clears the print area, just in case one was previously defined.
Using the Name Box drop-down list (right above cell A1), select the first named range you want printed.
Hold down the Ctrl key and use the Name Box drop-down list to select each of the other named ranges you want to print.
In the Page Setup group click the Print Area tool and then click Set Print Area. Excel marks each of your ranges as part of the print area.
Print as you normally would.
