Handling Internet Addresses in Spell Check

If you use the spelling checker to examine the text in a worksheet, you might want it to ignore Internet-related data, such as URLs and e-mail addresses. You can instruct the spelling checker to ignore anything that looks like an Internet address by following these steps:

Click the Office button and then click Excel Options. Excel displays the Excel Options dialog box.
At the left side of the dialog box click Proofing. (Click here to see a related figure.)
Make sure the Ignore Internet and File Addresses check box is selected.
Click on OK.
